About Cathy

My path to running wasn't a traditional competitive one. Instead, I built my experience over time through consistency, setbacks, and the discipline of showing up year after year. Along the way, I self-coached to strong marathon and road race performances, gaining firsthand insight into what sustainable progress requires. Like many long-term runners, I have faced injuries and periods when training needed to be adjusted. Those experiences became some of my most valuable teachers, reinforcing the importance of listening to the body and adapting when needed. They also shaped how I define success—not as a single outcome, but as the ability to keep running well over time. Today, I apply those lessons directly in my coaching—helping runners train consistently, adapt as needed, and build fitness that lasts. My coaching blends evidence—based training principles with real-world experience guided by each runner's goals, background, and current fitness level. My goal is simple: to help runners build the confidence and consistency necessary to reach their goals.
