The Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run is an annual spring road race held in Washington, DC. The event is timed to coincide with the blooming of the city’s famous cherry blossom trees and attracts tens of thousands of runners. It is known for its scenic route past iconic monuments and its status as a major race in the US road running calendar.
Course Terrain 
The course is primarily flat and fast, winding through downtown Washington, DC. Runners pass famous landmarks such as the Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, and Tidal Basin lined with cherry trees.
Elevation Changes
The Cherry Blossom 10 Miler features minimal elevation change, making it one of the faster distance races in the country. There are some gentle inclines but no major hills.
