The Tokyo Marathon is one of the six World Marathon Majors and is held annually in Tokyo, Japan. It attracts elite runners and amateurs from around the world and winds through the city's most iconic districts and landmarks.
Course Terrain 
The course is primarily run on paved city streets, offering a fast and relatively flat terrain with excellent crowd support. The route passes through famous districts including Shinjuku, Ginza, Asakusa, and ends near Tokyo Station.
