The Staten Island Half is a popular half marathon organized by New York Road Runners (NYRR), taking runners through the streets of Staten Island with finish line views of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. It is the final race in the NYRR Five-Borough Series.
             
           
                
                    Course Terrain 
                
                
                    The race course features city streets with views of New York Harbor and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, including some out-and-back sections on relatively flat to gently rolling roadways.
                 
            
            
                
                    Elevation Changes 
                
                
                    Mainly flat with some rolling hills, especially in the first and last miles, but generally considered approachable for most runners.
