About Riley

I founded the Driftless Distance Project to offer athletes an opportunity to pursue their potential beyond college. I believe that after college, your best running years are still ahead of you. I am currently completing my undergraduate degree in Health and Human Performance with a minor in Coaching, while being mentored & advised by Thomas R. Antczak (former 3x Olympic Trial Qualifier in the marathon). With my science-based training, years of experience, & personable demeanor, it is my mission to help guide athletes to become the best version of themselves. I provide an elite level & personalized coaching experience, regardless of pace. I really enjoy coaching longer events from 5k-Marathon, and have produced numerous Boston qualifiers & OTQ hopefuls in the marathon. I look forward to working towards your goals together! More about myself: I grew up in the small town of Joy, Illinois and attended Mercer County High School. At Merco is where I fell in love with distance running. I competed in Cross-Country & Track all four years. I committed to continue my athletic and academic pursuit of excellence at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. The head coach, Thomas Antczak, was my main deciding factor in attending. While my collegiate athletic career isn't what I had hoped for, I am grateful for the experience and the invaluable knowledge that I have gained. I have since continued my education by being a cross-country coach at Viterbo University (La Crosse, Wi) in the fall of 2024. I aim to continue running competitively after college - chasing the Olympic Trial Standard in the Marathon while continuing improving upon my PRs in other distances.
