About Lindsey

As the founder of the MN Trail Run Collective, my coaching is built on one core principle: meeting you exactly where you are—regardless of pace, surface, or experience level. My perspective comes from 26+ years of running combined with professional experience working behind the scenes for Twin Cities In Motion, the organization that produces the Twin Cities Marathon weekend. Having seen race day from every angle—from elite-level logistics to the back of the pack—I understand that a successful performance is built on far more than a training plan. That insight directly shapes how I coach today: practical, adaptive, and grounded in the real demands of training and race weekend execution. I specialize in purposeful, individualized training that removes unnecessary noise and focuses on what actually moves you forward. Whether you’re starting from the couch, building consistency, or chasing a new PR, your plan is designed to fit your life—not fight it. My core offerings include: - Training Consultations – clarity on which path is right for you - Custom Training Plans – fully personalized plans for any level or distance. - The Navigator – race-specific, high-touch training experiences for Twin Cities events - 1:1 Coaching – ongoing monthly support, adjustments, and accountability Training Consultations – clarity on which path is right for you Whether you’re preparing for a road 5K, a marathon, or your first ultra, the goal is the same: build confidence, remove guesswork, and get you to the start line ready to execute.

Minimum Requirements

To get the most out of The Navigator 10 Mile plan, runners should come in with a consistent base of ~15 miles per week. That’s where the program begins. This baseline helps ensure you can safely absorb the training, build steady momentum through the 12-week progression, and get the full benefit of the structure without unnecessary risk of burnout or injury. If you’re not quite there yet, that’s completely fine—there’s still time to build toward that foundation before the program starts on Monday, July 13. And if you’d like support getting there, a Custom Training Plan can bridge the gap with a simple, structured buildup designed to safely guide you to that 15-mile-per-week base before you step into The Navigator.
