About Evan

I’m a lifelong runner and a U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon Qualifier with over a decade of experience competing and coaching. I believe the best results come from consistency, communication, and coaching that fits your life. My mission is to help runners train smarter, whether you’re chasing a PR, qualifying for Boston, or rediscovering your love for the sport. Every athlete I work with gets a plan tailored to their goals, backed by experience and data, and delivered with accountability and care. I have personal bests of 14:24 in the 5k, 1:07:28 in the Half Marathon, and 2:18:19 in the Full Marathon. As a coach, I've coached athletes to qualify for the 2024 and 2028 US Olympic Marathon Trials, as well as the 2024 US Track Trials. I've also coached multiple athletes to top 10 placings at USATF Road Championships and coached athletes in the Pro Fields at the Bolder Boulder 10k, BAA 5k and Half Marathon, and Chicago Marathon. I'm a USATF Podium Program Coach, USATF Certified Marathon Specialist, USTFCCCA Track and Field Technically Certified, and I created the Stryd Power Coaching Program.

Athlete requirement

I'm currently working with athletes of all ability from first-time road runners up to competitive post-collegiate athletes looking to qualify for the Olympic Trials. I rely on good data in for good data out, so being able to train with a GPS watch is an important factor. I formerly worked at STRYD, running power meter, so while that is not a requirement, it certainly helps!
