About Chucky

Hey there! My name is Chucky. I am a 29 year old runner and coach. Being a multi-sport athlete my whole life I have always had a deep competitive nature & with that always enjoyed running as a means to stay in shape for boxing and perform at a high level. After suffering a traumatic accident in 2017 and almost losing my life and my leg, the moment I could walk again I made it my mission to never take running for granted and set a goal to run a marathon. Since then, I have fell in love with the sport & haven't stopped running. My first marathon I ran a 3:30 and have improved to a 2:38 in a relatively short amount of time. My personal goal is to keep improving to see how fast I can possibly get and help athletes to do the same! I am obsessed with the sport of running and could go on for hours about. Outside of running and coaching, I work full time as a GM at StretchLab. I am very fortunate that everyday I wake up I get to help people move, recover, & run better. Working with me, I wont just curate your training plan but I will analyze your runs and be with you through the whole process with consistent check ins, modifying your runs when life gets in the way, to still guide you to your goal. I believe what sets me apart with my philosophy is my ability to motivate you and inspire you to keep pushing to new heights that you didn't believe was possible. No matter what level you are at in your running journey, I would love to work with you and share my experience to help you become a better person and athlete.

As a newer runner, I was contemplating for a while deciding if working with a coach would help me achieve my running goals. After consultation with Chucky and working with him for some time, I can say it was totally worth it. His attention to detail, great communication, and ability to remain flexible with scheduling workouts to accommodate his athletes’ schedules has helped me improve greatly in a relatively short span of time. Couldn’t recommend Chucky more to those who are still deliberating on choosing the right coach!

I’ve always been a little skeptical about having a running coach for my own reasons, but I decided to take a chance with Chucky, and I couldn’t be happier with that decision. I’ve only been working with him for a few weeks, and I’ve already learned so much. I feel significantly more confident in my running and training than I did when I first started with him, and I honestly didn’t expect to see that kind of change in such a short amount of time. Chucky is an absolutely fantastic coach, and I’m really looking forward to continuing to learn and improve with his guidance.
