1. Types of Information Collected.
A. Personal Information.
TRSP may ask you for some or all of the following types of information, which may be identifiable to you (collectively “Personal Information”) when you register with us: your name, email address, password, date of birth, gender and location. We may also ask you for (i) payment, billing and address information if you purchase any private coaching services or any customized training plans and (ii) any other additional information we may require from time to time or for the purpose of authenticating yourself or your account if we have reason to believe, in our sole discretion, that you may be violating the Terms of Service or for any other reason we deem necessary.
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all Personal Information you submit to TRSP. You can see, review and change your Personal Information and User Data by accessing your user account information through the Service.
B. Non-Personal Information
Information Collected Automatically We automatically receive and collect information such as your IP address, the URLs of websites you arrive at TRSP from or leave TRSP to go to, your type of browser and language, access times, the content of any undeleted cookies that your browser previously accepted from us, your operating system, your mobile provider, your mobile device, and your ISP. We may use such information to better understand how TRSP visitors use our services, to analyze trends, administer the website, prevent fraud, and gather broad demographic information.
2. Third Party Accounts.
When you link a Third Party Account to your TRSP account, we may collect and store information about your contacts from those Third Party Websites which is available upon your logging in. This information may include, without limitation, a contact’s photograph, name, email address, telephone number, employer, job position, mailing address, instant messaging usernames and/or other content available from such contact’s profile.
3. Your Ability to Control Your Information.
You will have control over how much or how little Personal Information you provide to us. You can choose not to provide us with certain information by (i) limiting the information you include in your TRSP profile, (ii) limiting the information available through any Third Party Accounts which you have linked to your TRSP account, and (iii) limiting the Personal Information or User Content that you voluntarily choose to contribute or upload through the Service.
4. Our Use of Your Information.
Our primary purpose in collecting information, both Personal Information and other, is to provide you with a safe, smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Except, as set forth herein, will never share your Personal Information with any third parties.
You agree that we may use your information to:
• Provide the services which you purchase through the website or mobile application including, without limitation, private coaching services, customized training plans and all services and functionality available through the VDOT O2 training application.
• Provide customer support, troubleshoot problems and prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities.
• Customize, measure and improve the Service.
• Communicate with you about new services, service updates, and promotional offers for the visually impaired from us or our advertising partners based on your communication preferences.
• Monitor and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Verify your eligibility to use the Service.
We may sell or rent your non-personally identifying information to third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We may combine your information with information we collect from other companies and use it to improve and personalize our services, content and advertising. If you do not wish to receive marketing communications from us or participate in our ad-customization programs, simply indicate your preference or by following the directions provided with the communication or advertisement.
6. Our Disclosure of Your Information.
TRSP is committed to maintaining your trust and we want you to understand when and with whom we may share information collected about you. We may disclose Personal Information to respond to legal requirements, enforce our policies, respond to claims that certain User Content violates the rights of others, or protect anyone's rights, property, or safety. Such information will be disclosed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
We may also share your Personal Information with:
• Service providers under contract who help with our business operations, including, without limitation, our employees, coaches, trainers, customer-support personnel and credit card processing companies.
• Other third parties to whom you explicitly ask us to send your information (or about whom you are otherwise explicitly notified and consent to when using a specific service).
• Certain of our program participants under confidentiality agreement, as we in our sole discretion believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity.
• Other business entities, should we plan to merge with or be acquired by that business entity.
7. Account Protection.
The Personal Information we collect is stored on a secure, password-protected server and only authorized personnel have access to your information. We use industry-standard encryption technologies with respect to the receipt and transfer of Personal Information you submit. Nevertheless, despite our best efforts, no transmission over the Internet and no data storage method can be guaranteed to be safe 100% of the time. TRSP cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to TRSP or guarantee that your end user data stored on our servers may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our industry standard physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) we encrypt such information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). The TRSP website and software is hosted on servers in the United States. By submitting your Personal Information, you consent to its transfer and storage in the United States and its use in accordance with the purposes for which it was originally collected.
Your password is the key to your account. We urge to you to use unique numbers, letters and special characters, and do not disclose your password to anyone.
8. Deactivating Your Account.
Upon your request, or in the event we terminate your account in accordance with our Terms of Service, we will deactivate your account and remove your account from view as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable law. We may retain Personal Information from closed accounts to the extent necessary to comply with applicable law, prevent fraud, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Service, take actions we deem necessary to protect the integrity of the Service or our users, or take other actions otherwise permitted by law. We may retain certain User Content such as comments, feedback or ratings on certain businesses, goods or services which are advertised through the Service.
9. Email Communications.
We may use your email for transactional (e.g. to confirm your purchase of certain of our services) and promotional (e.g., newsletters, new product offerings, special discounts, special offers by certain third parties) purposes. Emails we send you may contain code that enables our database to track your usage of the emails we send you, such usage includes whether the email was opened and what links (if any) were clicked.
TRSP does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Services. The Services and its content are not directed at children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child under age 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
11. California Residents.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits residents of the State of California to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
