Showing up to the mid-summer 5k feeling prepared, connected to your training, and confident in how you’re going to move when the gun goes off. This program was built for that. For the runner who doesn’t necessarily want or need full 1:1 coaching right now, but also knows that following a random plan pulled off the internet isn’t the answer either. Lasting progress doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from doing the right things, at the right time, and with intention. Over the course of 4 weeks, you’ll train with a structure that mirrors how I coach my athletes: A balance of quality workouts, aerobic development, and recovery, woven together in a way that allows your fitness to build without breaking you down. You’ll run 3–4 days per week, with each run serving a purpose: • Workouts that develop speed and efficiency • Easy runs that support adaptation • Long runs that build durability Alongside that, you’ll have runner-specific strength sessions designed to support how you move, not just make you tired. And just as importantly, you’ll be guided through how to approach race week and race day. This isn’t about squeezing every ounce out of yourself on July 4th. It’s about arriving at the line knowing: • You’ve done the work • You understand your effort • And you can trust your body to respond If you’ve been wanting a way to train with more intention—without the pressure of full coaching—this is your entry point.

Minimum Requirements

Being able to run continuously for 20-30 minutes is always ideal, but all workouts can be taken at a walk/run approach.
