A 16-week, high-touch hybrid training experience built specifically for runners preparing for the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon. Most marathon plans stop at the miles. The Navigator goes further. This is a comprehensive training collective designed to remove the guesswork, the anxiety, and the logistical fog of race weekend. From your first mile in June to the final climb up Summit Avenue, you won’t navigate this alone. Customized Performance via V.02 Your 16-week training plan is delivered through the V.02 platform—designed to guide you all the way to the start line feeling prepared, not overwhelmed. V.DOT Precision: No generic effort zones. Your training paces are calibrated using your recent race data or conversational pace. Seamless Integration: Workouts sync directly to your Garmin, Coros, or Apple Watch—just hit start and go. Automated Tracking: Your data flows back into the app, allowing you to track progress, reflect on runs, and stay connected throughout the summer. The Navigator Briefings (Zoom) - 2x per month | Mondays at 7:00 PM Twice a month, we meet for focused 30-minute briefings built from two decades of behind-the-scenes experience with the race. These sessions give you the clarity and confidence most runners don’t realize they’re missing. Topics include: - Course Deep-Dive: Lakes, river, and the Summit Avenue climb—what to expect and how to run it - Race Morning Strategy: Parking, buses, light rail, and navigating the start - The Spectator Playbook: How your people can actually see you multiple times - Expo & VIP Decisions: What’s worth it—and what’s not - Staying Ahead of the Sweep: Timing, pacing, and course support Each session includes a short teaching + live Q&A. Community You’re not just following a plan—you’re part of a group moving toward the same start line. Private Facebook Group: Connect, ask questions, and find training partners Monthly In-Person Meetups: Optional runs on some of the best paved routes in the Twin Cities, including: - Bunker Hills Regional Park - Elm Creek Park Reserve - Great Northern Trail - Sections of the Twin Cities Marathon course Key Dates Registration Opens: April 27 at 6:00 AM Program Begins: June 15 Race Day: October 4 This isn’t about chasing a perfect training cycle. It’s about showing up on race day knowing exactly what to do, how to adjust, and how to carry yourself through all 26.2 miles. Because the real advantage isn’t just fitness— it’s knowing how to -navigate- the entire experience.

Minimum Requirements

To get the most out of The Navigator 26.2 plan, runners should come in with a consistent base of ~20 miles per week. That’s where the program begins. This baseline helps ensure you can safely absorb the training, handle the progression of a full marathon build, and get the full benefit of the structure without unnecessary risk of burnout or injury. If you’re not quite there yet, no worries—you can continue building toward that foundation between now and Sunday, June 15, when the program begins.
