A 12-week, high-touch hybrid training experience built specifically for runners preparing for the Twin Cities 10 Mile. Most training plans stop at the miles. The Navigator is a comprehensive training collective designed to remove the guesswork, the anxiety, and the logistical fog of race weekend. From your first mile in July to the final climb up Summit Avenue, you will not navigate this alone. Customized Performance via V.02 Your 12-week training plan is delivered through the V.02 platform—built to guide you to the finish line with clarity and precision. V.DOT Precision: No generic effort zones. Training paces are calibrated using your recent race data or conversational pace through the V.02 system. Seamless Integration: Workouts sync directly to your Garmin, Coros, or Apple Watch (Series 10 and later). Just hit start and go. Automated Tracking: Your run data flows back into the app for progress tracking all summer, with the ability to comment on runs that are sent directly to me. The Navigator Briefings (Zoom) - 2x per month | Mondays at 7:00 PM Success on race day is physical and tactical. Twice per month, we meet for 30-minute Zoom briefings focused on the real-world details that shape race weekend. These insights come from two decades of working behind the scenes of the event and give you the confidence most runners are missing at the start line. Topics include: - Course Deep-Dive: River, hills, and the Summit Avenue finish - Race Morning Ops: Parking, light rail, bus strategy, and start area navigation - The Spectator Playbook: How to plan your people so they can see you multiple times - Expo & VIP Strategy: What matters, what doesn’t, and how to decide - Course Support & Timing Mats: How to stay informed and ahead of cutoff points Each session includes a 20-minute topic discussion followed by 10–15 minutes of Q&A. Community You’re not training alone—you’re part of a collective moving toward the same start line. Private Facebook Group: Connect with other runners, find training partners, and stay engaged between sessions Monthly In-Person Meetups: Optional group runs on some of the best paved trail systems in the Twin Cities, including: - Bunker Hills Regional Park - Elm Creek Park Reserve - Great Northern Trail - Select sections of the Twin Cities 10 Mile course Important Dates - Registration Opens: April 27 at 6:00 AM - Program Starts: July 13 - Race Day: October 4

Minimum Requirements

To get the most out of The Navigator 10 Mile plan, runners should come in with a consistent base of ~15 miles per week. That’s where the program begins. This baseline helps ensure you can safely absorb the training, build steady momentum through the 12-week progression, and get the full benefit of the structure without unnecessary risk of burnout or injury. If you’re not quite there yet, that’s completely fine—there’s still time to build toward that foundation before the program starts on Monday, July 13. And if you’d like support getting there, a Custom Training Plan can bridge the gap with a simple, structured buildup designed to safely guide you to that 15-mile-per-week base before you step into The Navigator.
