As a physical therapist, I believe strength, explosiveness, and flexibility are key to a successful 5K/10K runner. Each program will include strength work, plyometrics, and pre/post run mobility prescriptions. The 5K program will include 2-3 quality sessions per week, with long runs ranging from 7-10 miles. The program will range from 18-30 miles/week depending on level of experience and previous running load. The 10K program includes 1-2 quality sessions per week, with a long run of 8-12 miles. Weekly mileage can range from 22-35 miles/week. After signing up, I will send you a form to fill out which will include prior history training, PRs, goals, and preferred days of the week for sessions. We can then jump on a 20 minute Zoom call to review your program and for any questions you may have!
