This 16-week 5K training plan is designed to gradually build your endurance, speed, and overall fitness for race day. The program is structured to accommodate runners of all levels, from beginners to those aiming for a personal best. Each week consists of a balanced mix of easy runs, tempo runs, speed work, and long runs, with cross-training days and rest days to ensure proper recovery. As the plan progresses, the intensity and distance of the runs will steadily increase. The goal is to improve your race performance while minimizing the risk of injury, setting you up to achieve your best possible 5K result by the end of the 16 weeks.
