Athletes should be able to run 3–6 days per week, depending on their individual goals and training plan. Successful coach-athlete relationships are built on teamwork, so open communication, consistency, and a positive attitude are essential. Athletes are expected to communicate regularly, complete the majority of their prescribed workouts, and be willing to work collaboratively throughout the coaching process. A great attitude and honest communication go a long way toward achieving long-term success.
